Mini Metro

First of all I have to admit that I think this game is presented in a very appealing style. As an architect it is my day to day job to think about graphical appearances of drawings and diagrams so I see myself capable to state that the art and graphic style of the game is phenomenal. The greatness of the presenation starts with the use of pictogram's and symbols, includes great color management and concludes in a nearly flawless minimal design game.

The game is a great "time killer" for optimizing fanatics because fully understanding the game takes quiet a while in my opinion as it is not a as straight forward game as it looks like in the beginning. Its not mastered by thinking "I am going to connect these stations and lets see what happens!". A situation which shows that there is more effort put into the design of the game than in a strait forward browser games. The game also has great balancing as each factor is important but no game factor has a ridiculous overwhelmingly impact. For example the drawing style of each player is different and the game sometimes draws the metro lines so that he trains actually lose some time on each station. If the player redraws and tries to put the lines in the right angel he achieves a optimization of some milli second. A factor that helps the player to make a better score but it is also possible to make good scores by concentrating on other "small factors" like the one just explained.

Finally I have to also state that the game has an factor of addiction as the player always things "one more time, this time I'm going to make a score over 2.000". A situation (which again) shows very good inventing, designing and balancing potential by the developers of the game. So putting all together this game is totally worth its money as the player will play for a throughout great design and thought through little puzzle game.
